"Food Network Star 'Recap: Drive-in Theaters, Festivals And Endless Drama

"Food Network Star 'Recap: Drive-in Theaters, Festivals And Endless Drama
Well, we have been competing this season's batch Network Food Star are now more than a month. And it feels so longer, is not it? At this point, is a small piece to slog through these 90-minute periods, when it is so clear, that did not win the contest. It 's like, why bother? Perhaps starting the 15 finalists too. Maybe 90 minutes is too long. Maybe it's too bland Jyll, Penny is too dramatic, Susie is too forgettable, and Chris is too annoying. What it is, this season has officially hit the wall, and began to drag on and on. Ed
But pioneers are legitimately excited about this season. Orchid, Whitney and Jeff in particular, really interesting to me as a person and cooks. And if you are watching the Food Network chef means trudging through the entire period of nonsense, well ... Hopefully, it will be worth it.
Now, an update!
The episode begins with Whitney in the middle of a phone call clearly directed at his mother. After a little motivation, Whitney is rearing to go this week.
Going Diners, Drive-ins and dives
Fieri type Mel finalists are in Drive-In in Hollywood. Now I realize that Guy Fieri is totally awesome and everyone loves him, but I personally I can not stand. He just always seems too. But hey, it is actually quite moderate act now before the finalists. But why get into the car? Just imagine you parked on the street, a producer says, "OK, Guy, start driving ... now!"
Anyway, the camera Challenge today will unfold a little differently. Our finalists will be filming segments for an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. There is an intro, a show about three different interviews for the film.
Susie and Vic are filming the intro. Susie was very nervous and starts to make words and then flows into the chamber. We have had an episode, but Susie did not fire, falling on something or fall? Vic is not much better. FIDE individual seems to have a problem with the fact that Vic is so fond of you can not throw in the towel at his side, so you end up walking, like Randy from A Christmas Carol.
Chris and Whitney are interviewing the chief executive Mel Drive-In. Chris rocks back and flails his arms around like a bag of these guys they put out on the sale of used cars. Whitney totally rocks, on the other side.
Jeff and Penny are interviewing a server in a bad mood. Jeff was very good, I think, and cracks jokes with Piper, on the server. Type has some criticism for it, but I think Jeff has done an amazing job. And then the steps to Penny, which ensures that the camera becomes your best side, and server outages, while the poor woman tries to answer your questions. As we all know, this is Penny Davidi. After Guy tries to give some advice and sailed right over his head.
Mary Beth and Orchid are interviewing the owner of the drive-in. Any other notices giant beak Mary Beth? It was a failure and back and all. Anyway, the hair, Mary Beth is a bit too much "food blogger" with the interview, Guy and told him to loosen. Orchids, but it drives more like a conversation rather than an interview.
Jyll and Justin (no need to include in its most original at last!) Hold tight. Justin Guy criticism seems to "wave your arms around and screaming at the camera." Hey, I think that if it works, Guy. Jyll is a bit 'too rigid, and Guy, Guy makes a play for his imaginary dog. It does not even make much sense in a relationship, so I did not even try.
Food Fest quarter
We Challenge July Fourth Star this week. Our finalists will cook all the dishes in the kitchen, renovated, 150.
Vic is assigned, the lobster roll. Mary Beth is the roast chicken and potato salad. Penny gets the sausage with peppers and macaroni salad (sausage refrain from laughter, to refrain from making jokes sausage). Jeff has beer and pretzels (WTF? What the hell is what to do with that?). Jyll get Carne Asada and Pica de gallo. Hot dogs and baked beans will Whitney. Hamburger and watermelon will be Justin. Pork ribs and sauerkraut will Susie. Orchid gets the chest and Mac and cheese (oh man, how are you going to cook in two hours?). Shrimp and corn on the cob, goes to Chris.
Our participants at the head of the store and we get a great scene of Chris trying to do math. Probably the highlight of the episode for me.
They return to the kitchen. Penny and Mary Beth calls Jyll Cheech and Chong, and I do not know why. Do they smoke pot? Do they get themselves into wacky situations? Jyll struggling with his carne M. ASADA, so it goes, "Hey Susie, you are Mexican. Tell me if it tastes right. "OK, it does not say, but honestly. Not cool, Jyll.
An epic choral music starts to play, which means that the time needed. They're back home and start the drama! This is so strange for me to see this kind of thing is a cooking competition. Jyll Penny and start arguing in the kitchen, and Penny will go, "This is more dramatic than what I want! This is more dramatic than I need!" Hopefully I'm not the only one who finds humor in this. If you do not want it, Penny, maybe you should not have to start it.
The finalists head to the food festival. Guy Fieri them there and promises food, fun and entertainment. And then he drops a bomb, revealing that the finalists are themselves the show. And, my God, have accessories.
Why. Why, the Food Network?
And for the first time in this episode, there's Bobby Flay, Bob and Susie Fogelson Tuschman. They should not be the judges? Wait, who won the challenge camera? Oh, whatever. Clearly it shows the care is.
Chris gave his first presentation, and what you can expect. It sticks around and scream a lot. Jyll is near, and it's the same for him. I feel like so many of these competitors are just made to proceed. Susie takes the stage, and not ... well. Susie Ninja finally noticed? Jeff is a cloak and hat, and goes, "No one is even exaggerated." I'm afraid.
But hey, you know what, Jeff was awesome. It 's funny, and is apparently able to laugh at himself. I like Jeff.
Orchid is the next, and for once, failed completely. Bob Tuschman said it seemed low power consumption, and I agree. I'm not going strong after Jeff helped. Vic is next and made a very good presentation. You know, Vic was on the fast track to elimination in a week and two, but is very advanced. Could win this thing? Jeff was right when he said Vic was the "sleeper" in this competition.
Penny takes the stage and tries in vain to give life to the audience. They keep reducing the judges, who are suspected tired faces. Bob Tuschman and yawning. Penny Whitney began to mourn and said that sentiment. Whitney then this, and hints that she might want to see Bobby Flay, no pants (Curiously, EW, Whitney). It's great, though. I'm still crushing Whitney.
Justin adopt a new personality for his presentation. April.
Mary Beth is increasing. This is another evening penis joke! This woman is on fire! Wiener jokes get you very far in this competition.
And now it's feeding time. All these hungry people sat through a torturous hours of presentations, and are ready for food. Penny, Susie, Whitney and Jeff seem to do really well. Jyll and Justin are not doing so well, though. Justin is not yet out of the food service, and people do not dig Jyll of Wisconsin-style Carne Asada.
Justin is in serious trouble this week. The judges do not like their burgers, and they are just confused by the rapidly moving to his personality.
Oh, hey, Chris. I have forgotten him. The judges are kind of "meh" for their shrimp. Meh chicken also Mary Beth.
I like the way they try to sell it as an incident of July 4, but it was clearly filmed as five months ago.
Judges are fond of chicken sliders Jeff pretzel. Susie Fogelson said he has increased Sandwich Sandwich prince to king.
A Tale of Two Justin
At this point, I'm a little doubtful about the competitors at the bottom. But Justin and Jyll defined below. Surprises for me this week, Susie and Vic I do not know what was in them, especially Susie.
I'm worried about orchid. It was such a serious candidate, but was hesitant.
Vic lobster rolls were favorites of the public festival food.
Uh-oh. This is what the people! Penny is out of the Destroyer, and the theater over the last four weeks are finally in the head. Jyll is on Penny and Penny begins to whine about how it is the only one that does not comply, they are colleged-aged roommates or something. Oh man, that fizzled quickly. I thought it would be more intense. What a disappointment.
Vic, Susie and Jeff are the top contenders this week, and the winner of the challenge is Susie.
Mary Beth, Whitney and Chris are safe. And hey, guess what. Penny's for sure. Again.
This means that Jyll, Justin, and Orchid is a bottom three. At this point, I'm thinking Justin is going home. Orchid I can not imagine going home this week.
Jyll is safe. Orchid is safe. This means, for the second straight week, losing to Justin.
Oh hey, where Giada was this episode? Too busy with over-pronunciation ingredients?
Next week, we have Tyler Florence (ugh, I hate that guy) and a food truck face to face. Penny Theatre and more. When MADNESS END?
Join me next week for another Food Network star summary. Check out our privileged Facebook, and have a Happy Fourth!
