While Writing "Crazy, Stupid, Love A Good Crowd Pleaser
Anyone who has lived very long knows that love can be crazy and stupid, that's why I love the song "Crazy, Stupid, Love" almost as much as I love the movie very funny. He has a great cast, a few laughs and a lot of heart. Advertisements for the film do not do justice.
It is easy to imagine anyone over 15 to find something similar in "Crazy, Stupid, Love," which, unsurprisingly, is about the vagaries of love lost and found. Who can not relate to it? It must be said that the film is written by Dan Fogelman, showing a level of maturity absent from most of his film "Cars", "Bolt" and "Tangled", which is aimed at children. Executive Glenn Ficarra and John Requa ("I love you Phillip Morris") very well juggle many stories. Although the filmmakers do not trust one bit at random in their little world and have let things dawn slightly sitcom territory in the second half.
These things so that a great movie, but still complies with the crowd pleaser. In recent years we have seen in a long-term relationship between the starting time to stop hitting the rock used for animal comedy "Date Night", "Kids Are All Right", then you can say that the ideas are new are very old style, which makes them timeless.
Steve Carell (a guy so much easier to love than to say, Jim Carrey and Will Farrell) plays Cal, he is devastated when his wife of 25 years filed for divorce. She is played by Emily and Julianne Moore in a role very similar to the one she played in "The Kids Are All Right" last summer. I was never a big fan of Moore, but it does these things well. You feel for her even when she does things you do not like. It hurts the poor, sweet but dull Cal. It too easily and starts hanging out in a trendy bar, a bar where he comes in. At least not until a smooth ladies man, Jacob, played to perfection by Ryan Gosling decides he will teach Cal to become more like him. Gosling plays often drug addicts or Crazies and is a talented actress, but I did not know he could be so fun.
Jacob may be teaching Cal how you can get one tonight, but it's really not what either man wants. It's just something to do to fill the loneliness. Divorce is hard and not very fun, but how people can be faced.
Emma Stone ("Easy A", "Zombieland") plays Hannah, a law degree recent study by the bar. It has a boring boyfriend (singer Josh Groban, really?) And have no problem supporting the progress of Jacob until she wants them. Most of the "Love" focuses on Emily and Cal, but Jacob and Hannah are much more interesting. Stone, soon to be seen in "Help" is my favorite actor of the young. She exudes intelligence and warmth.
Cal is also interesting and Emily's 13-year-old Robbie (Jonah Bobo). What child lovable. He is in love with 17 years, Jessica (Analeigh Tipton), who is in love with Cal. Appearance of the comedy of errors in there, "Love", as well as some of the twists and turns that make it a fun movie
