The Big Four Free Agents: Kept Two, Lost Two

The Big Four Free Agents: Kept Two, Lost Two
For several months, was the hottest topic of conversation among Jets fans: How the big four free agents who can re-sign? What? Braylon Edwards or Santonio Holmes? Both? What about Antonio Cromartie? Brad Smith?

Ultimately, it was about as expected, though a little more dramatic because Nnamdi Asomugha draws.
I always thought Holmes was the No. 1 priority, and the Jets, because of salary-cap considerations, it would not be able to keep him and Edwards. Here's how you play. He re-raised with Holmes for five years, $ 50000000, and Edwards is a free agent, ended his career Jets.
Smith is a fantastic footballer, but it is not a full-time player and luxury is hard to keep. The Jets did not even make an offer, and looking to sign bills with $ 15 million over four years.
What Cromartie, Jets were ready to move on without him, because it thought they could woo Asomugha, but it exploded and had to return to Cromartie. Monday morning, the two parties have concluded a four years $ 32 million contract.
The hard work is done by general manager Mike Tannenbaum, but the search for the second category of free agents, like Shaun Ellis S and James Ihedigbo to re-sign in the coming days. They would like to extend LB David Harris one-year contract and seek the warmth of the talks in the coming days.
